UGC SAKSHAM Portal: Empowering Women in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is committed to creating a safe, dignified and equitable environment for all members of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to live, work and study without fear of harassment and violence. Recognizing the importance of a secure and healthy environment for quality education and research, UGC has developed the SAKSHAM Portal. This active platform is designed to empower women in higher education by providing support and awareness on redressal mechanisms. It underscores the UGC's commitment to promoting gender justice, equality, and opportunity, and to assist HEIs in combating all forms of discrimination and oppression.
